Collection: Samurai Summer

I have always been inspired by Japanese aesthetics; the samurai, the yokai, the food, the architecture and the anime. This collection is a tribute to those things that fascinate and motivate me. In this work I have found my Ikigai and I thank you all for your support and encouragement throughout this process of kaizen, getting 1% better everyday. (That's the goal at least!)

Ikigai is a Japanese concept that roughly translates to "a reason for being" or "a reason to wake up in the morning." It represents the intersection of four elements: what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. Finding your ikigai involves discovering what brings you joy, what you excel at, what the world needs from you, and what you can sustain yourself with financially. It's seen as the convergence of these four aspects that leads to a fulfilling and purposeful life.
